After an international career in foreign affairs, I am exploring multi-media story-telling for brands seeking inspiring, visceral content to engage their communities. My latest project focuses on Grand Staircase-Escalante and its imperiled status as a National Monument. And that is how I found myself buying an isolated hermit shelter in the desert. Well, actually, acreage with a charming blue cottage on a mesa, surrounded by a cholla cactus garden. The Mojave House is my artistic refuge. Joshua Tree's magical, anthropomorphic landscape harnesses my imagination into new visual stories that surprise and inspire.
